Frequently asked questions
How many bottles of wine do I need for 20 guests?
For a three-hour party where wine is the main drink, plan on roughly one bottle for every two to three guests — about 8–10 bottles for 20 people — plus water and non-alcoholic options. Use our party calculator for a tailored estimate.
How many drinks per person should I plan for a party?
A common planning rule is two drinks per guest for the first hour and one per hour after that. Many guests will drink less, and some won't drink at all.
